Wags Doggy Daycare

Here at wags we are a structured daycare, all dogs are placed into groups depending on age, temperament etc.  We do a meet and greet on an interview basis first to ensure we are all the right fit for each other then we do a trail session before any dog can be enrolled with us this is where we do a screen test, temperament test, and compatibility test, then your dog will go through a trail month to ensure your happy and most importantly that your pooch is! Our largest group is 6 dogs and our smallest is 2 this is to avoid over stimulation and socialization and to ensure every dog is getting proper 1:1 time and attention.

In daycare we have 4 different areas being our big room, chill zone, small room and quite area all for different purposes, our quite area is an area with a TV and couch and is somewhere super chill for the dogs to go! our big room is our largest play area with all of our agility equipment, mazes and much more, our small room has couches and is just at the back of our big area so is perfect for a little down time, our chill zone is somewhere for our more chilled guests to go to, all areas are 100% monitored at all times, we also have live CCTV on always.
Every area has tons of enrichment and things for our dogs to do depending on their breed and what they like!

A typical daycare day

We get asked often what do we get up to in a typical day, now everyday ranges but here is some of what we do.. all the dogs come in to us at either a set time or our opening time, they all come in and go into their groups we always let everyone settle down for the first half hour to an hour then the fun really starts, we have 2/3 different set group walks a day these can range from beach walks, woodland walks, coastal walks, or private secure fields, we also offer 1:1 walks where we will work on confidence, lead walking and recall, we come back and then we have a rest, start doing enrichment this varies depending on dogs, however hide & seek and maze games always go down great! We will then do some fun training sessions along with lots of attention, cuddles and of course rest!

We pre make tons of different enrichment feeders every night before daycare starts from stuffed kongs, to frozen carrots, liki mats the list goes on, along with setting out all of our games and activities for the day  ahead, its important to us that the dogs are getting the same high level of care they get at home but while they are with us,  you tell us your dogs favorite treat, activity and walk and we will ensure we are matching that!
